Conversion tracking between containers

Can someone shed some light on this issue I'm facing?

There are two domains, each with a separate Optimizely snipet/container. Successful form fills on domain A have a confirmation page on domain B - is there a way to track success by sending a variable to container A / domain A from container B / domain B??

Any workarounds?

Thank you

Re: Conversion tracking between containers

Since they are on different domains - you won't be able to use cookies or even localStorage to pass information to the Confirmation page.

But... since you are submitting a form, a couple of ideas:
1- Add a hidden input to the form that gets posted to the order confirmation page (if the form uses the GET method, the input will appear in the URL of the next page).
2- Modify the "action" of the form (perhaps appending a parameter to the URL)

Re: Conversion tracking between containers

I solved it with a 1x1 iframe on the confirmation page that contains the container from domain A. The cool thing is that I could do it through Google Tagmanager and the whole thing got fixed in seconds.
