Is it possible to create experiments and variations using the ruby SDK?

We are attempting to create a content management type integration. We would like to use the ruby sdk for serving the correct variations and tracking events, however, we also need to be able to create experiments and set variations from within our product. From reading the docs, I only see mention of these features in the REST API of Optimizely Classic.

Since the ruby SDK requires you to use Optimizely X to generate the json data file for an existing experiment, does this mean it's impossible to create experiments via the ruby SDK? Is there a way to generate the the json datafile ourselves and point it at an Optimizely Classic experiment that was created via the REST API?

The Ruby SDK can not create experiments or variations, it can only run experiments and track events in your app. You can create experiments and variations with our V2 REST API: https://developers.optimizely.com/x/rest/v2/

We don't yet have Fullstack project creation through the V2 API but you can create experiments, variations, start/pause experiments.
