REST API results for custom date range

Hello,

Using REST API Get experiment results (stats engine)

Is there a way to get results for custom date range? By default it is from the beginning of the experiment until the time of the request.

I couldn't find any information about it here: http://developers.optimizely.com/rest/reference/index.html#get-stats

Thanks

Re: REST API results for custom date range

Hi Ikraav,

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you would like to specify a custom date range to see your experiments results through the API.

Unfortunately the reason why you have found no information on this in our Developers website is because this feature is currently not available.

Let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with.

Best,
David

Thank you for the answer, DavidS!

Is this feature something Optimizely is going to release anytime soon?

That would definitely be a valuable feature in order to get accurate data out of the results using the REST API.

Thanks

Re: REST API results for custom date range

Hi Kraav,

Thanks for your response.

I checked with our engineers and this feature has been discussed internally. We definitely see the value for our customers.

However as of today there is no release date set yet.

In the meantime, let me know if there is anything else I can clarify for you.

Best,
David

Thanks DavidS,

Yes, that feature would be highly useful to get some valuable information.

Maybe there is another way to access such data other than actually looking it up on the results page?

Perhaps there is a function hidden somewhere, which could be used in the browser console? Maybe something like: optly.results2.ExportData.prototype.getData() and give it dates as attributes?

Output format could be anything that a machine could read.

Looking forward to your answer - really trying to find a solution here. Thanks!
