Report a bug about memory leak

Hello!  I have a bug to report. It find it in versions 1.3.2, 1.4.2, and newest 1.5.

We are using optimizely in our project. I found some memory leak caused by it. Here are reproduction steps:

1. Click a button, app presents a view controller.

2. When the view controller showing, press home button to turn app into background.

3. Optimizely retains the view controller’s view, and never release.

The FJRTestView will never release.

Re: Report a bug about memory leak

Hi zhangjiuzhou,

Thanks for reaching out to Optimizely and sending us a bug report.

I am going to get that over to our engineering team to take a closer look. Would you mind sending me an experiment ID or project ID related to this issue? You can send them to me in a private message if you would like.

In the mean time, since you are an Enterprise customer, I'll open a ticket for you to let you know of any updates on this.

Feel more than free to reply back with any additional questions at all.

Best,
David

Re: Report a bug about memory leak

What is project ID? The project ID in apple store? And what is experiment ID?

Re: Report a bug about memory leak

Hi zhangjiuzhou,

The experiment ID is the unique identifier that Optimizely gives to each of your experiments. You can find your experiment ID by opening up your experiment in the Optimizely dashboard and looking at the experiment_id query parameter in your browser's address bar.

To follow-up on your issue, this has also been reported by other users and we are currently investigating the issue.

Thank you for your patience.

Best,
David
