Optiverse Community Guidelines

Here at Optimizely, we‘re extremely passionate about helping people turn
their data into action through optimization. In comes Optiverse. We designed
Optiverse with those experimenters in mind. We wanted to create a space for
those people to come together, explore the universe of a/b testing
possibilities, and to continue to optimize their products, applications and
digital properties.

The following community guidelines are here to help you understand what it
means to be a member of Optiverse. Don’t forget that your use of Optiverse is
subject to these Guidelines and our Terms of Service & Privacy Policy.

1. Be respectful.
We're a community of many types of people, who all have the right to feel
comfortable. Offer honest help, thank people for useful posts, and be patient
with others (some of us are not as technical as others)! Make sure that your
comments are helpful to the original poster. If you don't know the answer, let
someone else take the reins to answer. If you simply agree with the idea, vote
it up.

2. Be relevant.
Make sure your contributions are relevant to the mission of Opiverse, as well as
to the specific discussion style and topic where you post. Please do not post
duplicate messages in different areas of the community to avoid fragmenting
discussion. If you have a new question, start a new thread rather than
interrupting a conversation. Solicitations are rarely relevant. If you have
something you want members to join, participate in, or buy, ask us first.

3. Keep your word.
Don't post anything that would violate any contractual agreements (copyright,
trade secret or otherwise) or nondisclosure agreements to which you are a

4. Protect privacy - yours and others'.
Don't share anything about yourself or your organization that you would not
want to see on a roadside billboard. Share your business email address if you
wish, but don't post personal information-your own or anyone else's-including
contact information or any content that you receive in one-to-one
communications without the author's consent.

5. Remember, this is user-generated content.
You'll find plenty of good advice here, but remember that your situation,
configuration, or implementation may vary from that of the individual sharing a
solution. Some advice you find here may even be wrong. Apply the same good
judgment here that you would apply to information anywhere on the Internet.

6. No Wheelin’ & Dealin’
By all means, if it’s relevant to the conversation, share information about
products and services you love. But please don’t use Optiverse to prospect or
link out to your website. Our moderators will put the kibosh on that.

If you have questions for Optimizely that cannot be discussed in the
community, please contact:
• Contact Support at help.optimizely.com
• Contact the Community Manager, Amanda, at optiverse@optimizely.com

We will be happy to help!

7. Flag inappropriate content for review
If you recognize any violation of these guidelines, please notify us within the
community by choosing "Report Inappropriate Content" from the message's
Options menu and let us know why you feel the content is inappropriate.
If you have any questions about our guidelines, terms, or policies, let us know.

We look forward to collaborating with creating with you on Optiverse!

I hope that the definition of hypothesis is enforced! Can't wait. Will be a winning experience for everyone either way with all of the great ideas being shared.
