Detach editor from page

Have the code editor be able to attach to the LEFT, RIGHT, BOTTOM or DETACH.  (Like Chrome's inspector  does, but they didn't add a left side attache feature)

Status: Done (Partially)

Hi @jpfotoz that's a great idea. We're actually working on a beta feature right now that pops out the editor into a separate window. You can access the feature by doing the following:

  1. Add the following query string parameter to the URL of the Optimizely editor: &show_popout=true
  2. Refresh the page
  3. As the editor loads, click the "Cancel" button in the center of the blank editor page.
  4. A button to popout the editor should appear.

The reason it's a little complicated to access is because we've designed the beta feature primarily for customers that have issues loading their websites in our editor.

Feel free to comment here with feedback.

Thanks!

Thanks Byron...   I tried it.. I would have liked to see the code pop out - not the page. This will give users more room to edit and place the code in a secondary monitor if they have one.
