Low Cost Video Explorations - Mixing Business and Pleasure @ Dreamforce '14
I'm always keen on exploring new formats for creating marketing mayhem. Back in June, I spoke at a totally unique conference called FunnyBizz, which focuses on utilizing humor in content marketing.
At the conference, there was an incredibly inspiring piece all about "Man on the Street" style interview videos. Comedians have been employing this for a while (Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel, etc.) as a medium for creating laughter, but the thesis was that marketers could stand to gain some favor with prospects and customers and generate/enhance emotional brand connections by using this approach.
Of course, I had to get in on the action.
Dreamforce 2014 was in town this past month, and I thought it a fun opportunity to step out and give this whole interview approach a chance.
I employed the "talents" of MC Commerce, and we took a small crew to mingle with the Dreamforce attendees with a simple mission: to learn more about the cloud. The results were pretty hilarious. We hope you enjoy, and please let us know what you think.
