Notifications about experiments

We built a tool to notify you about the status of your Optimizely experiments. These go to whatever Slack channel you want. We're looking for people to test it out and give us feedback on what will make it more useful for you.

Have a look. Let me know what you think.

Re: Notifications about experiments

Hi Vanessa

Thanks for a great tool.

I've integrated 2 accounts so far.

1 "single" account and one "multi" account which I invited as admin from several other account.

At the moment only the chosen account in the multi account is monitored.

Dont know if it's possible even, but if the tool could monitor all connected accounts on one profile, it would be awesome.

Else I'll just connect each of the other accounts on it own.

Have a great weekend!

Kind regards

 Henrik

Re: Notifications about experiments

Hi Henrik,

It is possible, but the way to do it is a bit weird. You have to log into your Optimizely account (on Optimizely.com), then in another window you can log into the Monitor and add that account. To add the next, you have to log out of your Optimizely account, and log into your other Optimizely account. Then you can add that account in from the Monitor. In other words, the Monitor is only going to let you establish a connection for the Optimizely account you most recently logged into.

Definitely not ideal, but as far as we know this is the only way to deal with it, given how the Optimizely login feature works. We're putting in a request with Optimizely to have that function a little differently, so people can just select from their list of accounts.

Cheers and thanks for the feedback!

Hi again Vanessa.

Yea I figured that out as well. The only thing is, that if you have a bunch of accounts, and invite one "Master" account as an admin to all of these, then you can have access to all these accounts through one login.

But then the monitor only looks at the selected account. It's not a problem, since I can just invite each of the accounts. But it would be a cool feature to the users who manage several accounts at once.

Anyways. I'm really liking the tool and I'll keep testing it.

Thanks !
Henrik
