Testing a Hover Dropdown Menu

I am looking to test one of the dropdown menu's from our site's navigation bar. When using the visual editor, if the menu only appears on hover how can I select/move/track elements?

Hi Jillalvs,

You can do this using Interactive Mode within the editor. This will allow you to hover over and get the dropdown so you can make the change before moving it back to Visual Mode

Here's more information on it with an step by step example:

Jillalvs,

Ash's link will provide you with steps on how to test a drop down that only appears when you hover over an element.

Here's a quick step by step guide on how to use Interactive Mode to test drop down menus:

* Click on "editing mode" and select "interactive mode"

* Hover over the menu item you would like to edit.

* Do not move your cursor and hold control + i on your keyboard.

Depending on the site, the drop down menu should still be on the screen.

Command-i doesn't seem to work on a Mac. Is there a Mac shortcut?
