A/B testing with url redirect: variation url not appearing in google analytic

[ Edited ]

Hello!

I started an experiment with URL redirect.

original:www.allyogathailand.com

variation: www.allyogathailand.com/home-page-v2.html

However, the variation url is not appearing in my google analytics...

Am I missing something?

Is there a resource for best practice for A/B testing with url redirect (my crazy egg tracking not working neither...)

Without google analytics and crazy eggs to confirm result, Im not sure how reliable are the results in optimizely...

Thank you for your help!

Two things I would look into:

  1. Make sure you're not inadvertently filtering something out from your Analytics reports. Is it for the right time frame? Are any custom segments being applied? Did you try searching for the page in Behavior > Content > All Content?
  2. Make sure the analytics script is working on /home-page-v2.html and sending hits to GA. You can do this by installing the Google Analytics Debugger for Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-analytics-debugger/jnkmfdileelhofjcijamephohjechhna...
