Building within Optimizely

Hi folks,  I've just begun to explore optimizely.  I've been told that it's possible to build a web page from scratch within optimizely.  I haven't been able to find that capability.  I've only found the ability to create a modified test version of an existing page that you've linked to.  Am I missing something?  Is it possible to build a webpage from scratch?  Any advice would be much appreciated.  Thanks,  Ken

Re: Building within Optimizely

Optimizely is a javascript file that has to be hosted on a current page. You could theoretically build an entire page via Optimizely if you hosted it on an already blank page, but generally building a page in Optimizely is harder than biulding it some other way and then modifying it in Optimizely.

If you already have a site and want to test two separate pages, a lot of people use the "Redirect Test" approach where they create the second page on their server and then redirect half their traffic to it via Optimizely:

Re: Building within Optimizely

Thank you, Tom. I watched the videos and didn't see anything related to building from scratch, so I suspected this was the case.
