Can I remove specific variations in a Multivariate test?

I have a multivariate test that has 16 possible permutations. Is it possible to remove specific variations ? I don't mean through the standard traffic allocation which only allows me to exclude possible variations.

Hello,

You can remove a variation from your Multivariate Test by clicking the dropdown menu on the variation tab, and clicking 'Delete Variation'. Let me know if this makes sense or if you have any other questions!

By variation I meant permutation of the test. For example if I have multiple variations which results in 16 permutations, I want to remove specific permutations that result from the multivariate test.

Is that possible?

Thank you for explaining! Optimizely tests all possible combinations of a multivariate test, so it is not possible to delete permutations. Here is our Knowledge Base article that explains the details of Multivariate Testing within Optimizely. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!
