Can I use my new pages for a PPC landing page?

Hi guys, I am new to the optimizely. I have created some specific landing pages to use for some PPC ads by just editing one of my original pages. Can I link my adwords to my new optimizely page?

Any help would be very much appreciated

Stephen.

You can.

How are you accessing these new pages, is it through a query string? - If so you can get Optimizely to target those query string URLs.

If you let us know how those pages are set up we can provide you with specific ways of achieving this.

Re: Can I use my new pages for a PPC landing page?

the straight landing page would be http://www.XXX.com/plantsville-ct-fire-smoke-damage-restoration

I now add that in adwords as the landing page for the ad.

2 scenarios.

1) I'd like to run an experiment a/b testing 2 versions of that page (both are variations of the original page).
How would I set it up so only those 2 variations would appear for adwords only.

I would still like the original page the say the same in organic/site search.
Best way to do that?

2) I'd like to have only 1 landing page that I am testing for adwords.
So no a/b testing, just a straight modified landing page that appears in adwords only.
The original page would stay the same with no changes on the site.

thank you

Re: Can I use my new pages for a PPC landing page?

would it be as easy as adding ?gclid=

http://www.xxx.com/plantsville-ct-fire-smoke-damage-restoration/?gclid=

But there would be a bit more "changing" code ADDED to the end of the =

How would you set it up so as long as gclid appeared (regardless of what came after it would show the experiment page only and in an a/b test scenario?

Thank you
