Hi,

 

I'm having trouble getting our shopping cart / checkout to show up in Optimizely.

 

I've disabled mixed content in multiple browsers, have tried incognito windows, clearning caches and followed all other suggestions in the gated content article around putting items in your cart in one tab / the same tab then loading optimizely.

 

I'm still seeing the compatability mode warning despite trying everything above and still not shopping cart contents showing up : /

 

Our cart does set cookies and URLS do allow parameters. Any help would be appreciated!

I often have the same problem when looking at a cart or checkout page on an e-commerce site. Even though the experiment editor is very good at what it does, it won't always 100% load the "active" version of the page and you'll end up viewing the page as if the cart was empty. I've found that when testing/proofing experiments, it's almost always better to preview the experiment on the site itself, either by using the optimizely_x query string method or by setting a cookie and using that cookie in an audience (my preferred method).

Ah very clever. It's been a year since I've been back in this tool, so appreciate the pointers!
