Cant get my experiment working on mobile

Hi guys.

Ive set up an experiment in which I hide an element (a class, to be more specific) from DOM using jQuery. The experiment is working good on desktop, but I cant get it to work on mobile. Ive double checked and the class is the same on desktop and mobile... Ive also tried to set up audiences targeting both desktop and mobile OS.

Can you guys give me a light please?

Thanks

Re: Cant get my experiment working on mobile

Hello,

Thanks for posting on Optiverse! Sometimes a styling of a class is inherited from a style sheet which takes priority over Optimizely. Here is an article to help troubleshoot that issue:

https://help.optimizely.com/Troubleshoot_Problems/Override_inherited_styles_on_your_site

If this is not the case, you can give me your experiment ID so I can troubleshoot your particular issue. Let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions!

Best,

Darcey

Hi Darcey, thank you for your help but unfortunately this wasnt the case...

Experiment ID: 7979861196

.qa-a-list is the class we'd like to hide.

Thanks!

@Thiago- can you share a link to a page that has the class you are wanting to hide?

Typically, I do the following to hide something:

/* _optimizely_evaluate=force */
$('head').prepend('<style id="opt_7979861196">.qa-a-list {display:block !important;}</style>');
/* _optimizely_evaluate=safe */
