Changes made in Editing mode not visible in Interactive mode

[ Edited ]

Okay so I have a simple experiment running, altering the text in a H2 header, and it's says in the log that it's working, for example:

Optimizely / Evaluator / Run code: $(".form-group > h2.ng-binding").html("New text bla bla bla"); [time 229 +0]

...and the hits are showing up in the results log, so should be fine.

However, the altered H2 text isn't visible, and one clue as to why this may be is that when I change from Editor mode, to Interactive mode in the editor, the change I just made to the H2 disappears.

FYI We are using Angular 1.2 on the site, along with jQuery.

Anyone have any clues?

Hi Jones,

Thanks for reaching out!

This is actually the intended behavior. Because Interactive Mode will allow you to interact with elements on the page, Optimizely will always revert back to the original when switching to Interactive Mode. You can find out more about how Interactive Mode works in the following Knowledge Base article.

I hope that is helpful. Feel more than free to reply back with any additional questions at all.

Best,
David

Cheers Dave!

Though do you have any ideas what might cause the variation of the H2 header not to be visible?
