Do you need to create a different Adobe Analytics variable for each experiment?

If I have three experiments running across my site, two of which are on the same page - does that mean that I have to create three variables in Adobe Analytics and set the matching variables in each experiment? Or do I just need one Optimizely variable in Adobe Analytics that I can use across all experiments?

Thanks for your question!

As part of the Omniture Integration, Optimizely passes the specific experiment and variation name that a user is bucketed into. If multiple experiments are using the same eVar then experiment data can be overwritten by one another. In this sense, each experiment will need its own eVar.

Please let me know if you have further questions!

Re: Do you need to create a different Adobe Analytics variable for each experiment?

Situation:

2 different campaigns (HeaderVariationA, FooterVariationB), both set to prop 65 Adobe integration, running on the same page load.

Question:

How will the prop be populated?  Are they concatenated or prioritized or is it a race condition?

Thanks in advance!
