Home page not loading in experiment editor

I can't find any information on the issue I'm facing which is our home page doesn't load on the experiment page. The screen is just blank. I'm using Chrome on Windows 7. I've allowed the untrusted scripts to run and I've set --allow-running-insecure-content to my Chrome shortcut but no dice.

We have locked down our servers recently so they only accept TLS 1.2 connections.  Could that be the problem?

Re: Home page not loading in experiment editor

Just a suggestion, but it might be because of the framework used to build your site. I'm assuming there must be something on your page that is preventing Optimizely from running appropriate - you can try hitting the interactive mode to see if that changes what you see.

Re: Home page not loading in experiment editor

Thanks for the reply.

We're using angularjs.

Since I opened this topic I found https://github.com/mattvv/angular-optimizely and https://github.com/jacopotarantino/ng-optimizely but I'm struggling to understand the ramifications.

The first seems like you can set up areas within your app for optimizely to use for the tests (do varients equal experiments?).

The second seems to be able to use experiments configured within optimizely.

Is it possible to create experiments without using the experiment editor?

Re: Home page not loading in experiment editor

We're using AngularJS as well, and yes you can create experiments without the experiment editor (have a look at Optimizely's developer documentation). However, I would strongly recommend taking advantage of the variation code and forced parameters to preview the experiment.
