How Run a test sitewide but excluding home and index pages?

I want to run a tests sitewide on the Article Pages only and so, excluding home and index pages. The problem is there's no other parameters on the article pages that I can target. FOr example, the URL of an article page is something like:

www.site.com/category/name-of-the-article.html

I need to run the experiment sitewide (all articles)  but excluding

Home Page - www.site.com

Index Pages - www.site.com/category/

Any idea how can I achieve that?

Thanks

If your list of category pages is small enough, you can add a few "exclude" URLs to your URL targetting.  Use "Simple Match" on "www.site.com" and "www.site.com/category1", "www.site.com/category2", etc.

Otherwise, RegEx will be your preferred route.  Based on the criteria you've provided, this will work:

Use the URL Match Validator against various URLs from your site to verify they match or don't match:

Homepage

Homepage URL.PNG

Categpory Page

Category URL.PNG

Article Page

If you need to amend your URL Targeting requirements, let me know!
