How can I run a test across all product pages of my ecommerce

Hi people!

I would like to run a test across all product pages of my ecommerce (www.rs1.com.br). All product pages have the substring "/p" in the end of the URL. Example: http://www.rs1.com.br/bone-dani-pedrosa-branco/p

Up to now in Optimizely I have only tested changes for a single product so it can take time to accummulate enough traffic to establish a 'winner' scenario.

Anyone have experience setting up a Optimizely test for all product pages?

Best,

Márcio

Hey Marcio,

You can set up an experiment using "RegEx Match" to match the following URL's:

www\.rs1\.com\.br/(.+)/p

This should match any URL that starts with www.rs1.com.br/, followed by any value, followed by /p. In other words, it will run on all your product pages. Be sure to test the matching using the built-in tool.

To add on to Greg's response - please be sure the Optimizely snippet is installed on all pages in which you are running an experiment or tracking goals.

More on URL Targeting can be found in our knowledge base article: https://help.optimizely.com/hc/en-us/articles/200040835-URL-Targeting-Choose-where-your-experiment-r...
