How to A/B test using JavaScript APIs only?

Testing Description: force variation code[1] if the current user is under experimentation (variation bucket) or some application condition is satisfied.

Our app requires authentication and steps provided in [2] are not optimal for our use cases.

Re: How to A/B test using JavaScript APIs only?

Hi Dhrubab,

Thanks for posting your question here. Can you elaborate a bit more on what you're doing and trying to achieve:

* Are you running an A/B test on a website/mobile website, or a mobile app (Android/iOS)? We have a different product for the two, and both require a different way to set up experiments.
* If you're looking to make changes to an A/B website, you should be able to do that through our editor. What exactly about the steps [2] isn't working for you? Are you not able to load your page in the editor?

If you can pm me your experiment-ID or e-mail address of your account I can go in and have a look to understand better what you're trying to achieve.

Best wishes,
Nils

Thanks for replying Nils. I've figured out how Optimizely works i.e. Web Editor, Code Edit etc. What I was looking for is not supported by Optimizely JS API. I was trying to avoid all these web editors and IDEs, and run my experiments and tests using JS API.
