How to reset the stats of an experiment?

How can I reset the stats of an expirement?

For instance, I want to add a variation and then reset all data. Obviously I can not compare my new variation with my control data since a lot of factors has influenced the control's results such as days of the week, keyword placements, traffic sources.

It only makes sense that both variations start on a equal note to compare apples with apples. I know that you can change the dates but this is not ideal at all. If you have a 100 split tests you will never remember when you changed/added variations on every single one of them.

On the experiment results page, click the "Gear" icon near the upper right corner. A dropdown menu will appear with the "Reset Results" option. That dumps ALL the result data for that experiment and starts from 0. Be careful, as dumped data is unrecoverable.

Also, note that even though you are dumping the data, that does not "reset" any visitor bucketing. If a user was previously bucketed into variation 1, they will still see that same variation while the experiment runs. If you are adding new variations, I would reccomend cloning the old experiment and then add the new variation onto the new experiment. That way your visitor bucketing is fresh.

No, clearing result data is an all-or-nothing thing. However, you can filter result information by timeframe. Click the "Date Range" dropdown in the upper left corner of the results page. There are some pre-configured options available like "Today", "Yesterday", "Last 7 Days", etc. You can check a custom timeframe by clicking the "From" or "To" dates at the bottom of the dropdown. That will let you pick the start/end dates for the result data that you want to view, down to the hour.

There doesn't seem to be a "gear icon" for Full Stack project experiment results.
