How to run a test for an exit intent triggered pop up?

Greetings,

I am setting up my first Optimizely test! Robot Happy

We are running a AB test to determine the impact of an exit intent pop up using a platform called www.optinmonster.com.

Our goal is to run the script on every page except checkout pages, which we set through URL targeting.

What's best practice in terms of placing the exit intent script for the test variant? It is suppose to be placed:

<head>here</header>

Do i use the editor? Is there anything I should do or know for configuration?

Many thanks and have a great day.

Here's an example of adding a google script to your page.

This could be any <script> code that you want to load.

/* _optimizely_evaluate=force */
$('head').prepend('<script type="text/javascript" src="https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion.js">');
/* _optimizely_evaluate=safe */

I'm not aware of any reason to put it anywhere other than the <head>.  No matter where you place it in the DOM, it will start to load as soon as you insert it.

Hey Napolean,

I added the script to the script editor. Does this look right to you? I really appreciate your help!
