Increased Google Analytics sampling from Integrating into Optimizely?

For the first time since adopting Optimizely as an A/B testing solution, we're running 5 concurrent experiments on one site.

The traffic allocation is nearly 100%.

Coincidentally, we're seeing a sudden increase in the number of session recorded by Google Analytics.

So, the question is...

Does integrating an experiment with Google Analytics increase the sample rate on a site?

Hi cubelodyte,

Adding more Optimizely experiments to Google Analytics shouldn't increase the session counts. Especially for your site overall!

One question - are you using a different Google Analytics custom dimension number for each project? If not, you might see some strange overlaps and traffic numbers.
