Internet Explorer 11 not showing variation
We currently have an experiment set up, this experiment is working fine in Chrome and Firefox but in Internet explorer the variation isn't working. When checking if the experiment is running i get a correct response in Chrome but in Internet Explorer on the same page i get the following error:
"Optimizely has not been initialized".
When checking the log for errors I receive the following error on line 194:
"Can't retrieve the propety of var t=window.JSON.stringify, contains an empty value"
Unfortunately alot of our customers are still using Internet Explorer.....
Any help would by greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your question, @Babyhuys!
I was able to reproduce the "Can't retrieve the propety of var t=window.JSON.stringify, contains an empty value" error within IE 11, but it interestingly enough only seems to be happening on your Optimizely implentation and not my test account or other ones. I'd like to take this offline and dig deeper into the details with you, so I will send you an email with a few extra questions to get things going. It appears that the Optimizely snippet isn't even being initialized on the page due to this error, so it's as if no IE 11 visitors are being let in the test. The good news is this will help to keep your results accurate while we investigate what could be going on.
I'll send you an email now. Feel more than free to reply back to that with any additional questions at all.
Thanks for the reply! I have found your conversation exchange wtih _DerekHammond and will create a new one to start a thread so we can figure out this issue.
