Issue with page in multiple languages

I have just set up a new experiment for our homepage, but since our site is a multi-language site and redirecting to certain languages based on IP, it is displaying the English language version of our site in Optimizely, which is not the one I intended on editing for the experiment.

Anyone aware of a solution to this?

Re: Issue with page in multiple languages

If you have no parameter in the url to switch language, which is more important than the IP, it will be difficult. Do you have an idea how to manage this for your visitors? They might encounter the same problem, if you cannot target your pages correctly...

What is the domain of your site?

You should set RegEx exclusions on known URLs, or simple match for a set number of pages depending on which makes more sense in your case. If that doesn't work, then you'll need some custom JavaScript to exclude bucketing a user into an experiment if they belong to the English language category.
