No changes, text is reset when i return to editor.

[ Edited ]

Dear optimizely.

I have tried to make 2 variation of my page. Just basic text changes (right click on text and change text)

I see non of the 2 variation when i test the site on 3 browser and 2 devices, clear cookies and so on. There should be 66,6% to land on one of the two new variations. I have triede 20 times, with no new result.

When i go in the preview panel the same issues is there..

When i return to the editor after having started the experiment, all my changes has been reset to the original. (yes i rembered to save).

Why am i having all this trouble with basic changes? My site is a wordpress site, goblind.org.

Hi,

It appears that the reason why the changes isn't being applied is because the wordpress theme utilizes dynamic selectors. This means the unique ID for an element such as a title will be different on a pageview or the next day. Here is an article that will provide you with info on what dynamic selectors are and how to work around them: https://help.optimizely.com/QA_and_Troubleshoot/Using_Dynamic_Selectors

Here is an article that will helped me to come to this conclusion:
