Problem setting up goals. Need help!

Hello,

I have set up a test and the variations and when I go to goals, I'm confused as to what I do. I want to track which # of people click what links but according to the way I set it up, nothing is happening. It's not tracking clicks oneither the original or the variation. How do I get it to track links? What goal settings do I put so link clicks are tracked?

In your editor, right click in the link you'd like to track (you only need to do this on one variation if your link exists across all your variants). Next, hover over Track Clicks then select Create New Click Goal. Give your goal a name and save it. Once your experiment starts running, you'll able to see how many people from each variant clicked on the link you're tracking.

So to make sure I got this right.

After my variations are set, I go to "Set up Goals" --- > "Create a New Goal" --- > Write the goal name, then under "What to Track" I choose clicks, then when the preview is loaded, I choose the element with the link I want to track, and hit save.

This will ensure I'm tracking links right, yes?

Yes, you can also choose the links in your visual editor.
