Problems loading shopping cart with items

I'm experiencing issues when I try to load a cart with items, it just keeps loading the empty cart.

This may have something to do with the url doens't change at all whether the cart is empty or not.

url: http://www.domain.com/us_en/checkout/cart/

I found a solution in the community, which told me to open the page in another tab, add items to the cart and then load the page in Optimizely. But this were without success as well.

Hope that anybody can help me get to the bottom of this.

If adding items in a different tab doesn't work for you, you can also try creating your experiment by using "Interactive Mode"

1- top right of the experiement is a drop-down, it probably says "Editing Mode", change it to "Interactive Mode"

2- navigate through your site and add stuff to your cart as needed

3- when you return to your cart page, you should have products in your cart

4- change the drop-down back to "Editing Mode" and you should be able to use the WYSIWYG editor

Re: Problems loading shopping cart with items

Hi Jason,

I've tried your solution. But every time I change the mode to Interactive and then try to navigate away from the cart I get this message http://take.ms/o07IW. If I click "Leave page" then I get a blank page every single time. See example here http://take.ms/wPZf9

@martinsoender - Looks like something you may need to get your developers to look at.  Perhaps your "cart w/ items" doesn't like being inside an <iframe> and is trying to break free.  i noticed that the URL indicates that your site has some insecure content on it, that could also be providing complications.

Have you tried coding the changes by writing jQuery in your browser's console while viewing a "cart w/ items" or are you stuck using the WYSIWYG editor?

I should have a bit of spare time today - if you PM me a link to your site and a mockup of what you want changed, I should be able to take a crack at writing it up in jQuery.
