Script seen on website, Please help hide the JS?

Hello folks, can somone help me hide the  <script src="//cdn.optimizely.com/js/1894710xxx.js"></script> from being scen in the upper left corner of my web pages? We are using Wordpress 4.0 and the Optimizely plugin for Wordpress. Any ideas?

It sounds like you added this as actual html text instead of as a script tag. The easiest way to add your snippet to a Wordpress site is using the plugin. You can find details and a walkthrough on how to do this here: https://help.optimizely.com/hc/en-us/articles/200040505-Implementing-Optimizely-on-a-CMS-or-e-commer...

I think Amanda is right, but otherwise I would also check the encoding of the characters which you used to copy paste the Optimizely tag, the < > are encoded now which means it will show up as text on your Web site.

Yup yup - the webpage contains

&lt;script src=&quot;//cdn.optimizely.com/js/1894710273.js&quot;&gt;&lt;/script&gt;

 It needs to contain

<script src="//cdn.optimizely.com/js/1894710273.js"></script>

Perhaps it was added as "text" via a WYSIWIG rather than added as code.
