Segmenting results for goals based on desktop vs mobile view

We're running optimizely on both desktop and mobile interfaces right now. However in the results screen it seems to consolidate all tracked information for each set goal. Is there a way to segment results for goals based on desktop vs mobile view? Does anyone know how to do this? Or whether this is even possible?

Thank you!

Hi inquisitive,

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you would like to segment your results between mobile and non-mobile visitors on the Results page.

It is possible to segment results based on the visitor's device. To achieve that, head to the Results page. You will see the Date Picker in the upper left corner.  Next to it, there is a Segment dropdown. Click on it, and you will a list of all segments available to filter your results. Scroll to the bottom of this dropdown, and you should see a section named "Mobile Visitors". From there, you can choose to show goal conversions for Mobile or Non-Mobile visitors. Click on either one and the Results page should update automatically.

With an Optimizely Enterprise Plan, it is possible to compare side-by-side Mobile goal conversions with Non-Mobile conversions. On the results Page, on the right hand side you will see a Add View blue button. Click on it and you will be able to create a custom view allowing you to compare side by side your mobile and non-mobile goal conversions.

Does that answer your question? Let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions!

Best,
David
