Setting up a different Optimizely snippet for mobile web

Curious how others are setting up their mobile web experiments from their desktop web experiments. Are you setting up different snippets of Optimizely to separate them or using the same snippet for both?

Thanks!

Re: Setting up a different Optimizely snippet for mobile web

Hey there!

I just wanted to chime in and mention that we often see the same snippet being used across mobile web and desktop web experiments, and then use of audience conditions to target each experiment to its appropriate audience. Keep in mind that since you can't have 2 snippets on the same page, you will want to make all experiments that target a similar domain in the same project.

Optimizely

Hi there,

It's not necessary to have a separate Optimizely snippet for mobile experiments. You can use the Device audience condition to control who gets into your mobile experiments, if you want an exclusively mobile audience. Check out this article for more information!
