Staging v. Production - Optimizely NOT Loading

Has anyone expereinced any issues in getting optimizely to load on production v. staging?

Details: Added snippet, loaded, tested and ran several experiments in stg before moving to produciton - doesn't work in produciton.  Troubleshooted it by,:creating a new project, and project code, updated snippet on site and will will not load in production.  No problem loading from staging but still does not load any of the pages in produciton.

Anyone expereince with this issue - please help.

Thanks

Things to check:
1- use your browser's console to check for errors that happen during page load
2- use your browsers "network" panel to see if the snippet is being requested?
3- could your URL targeting be excluding production? (e.g., you set up the experiment targeting "staging.mysite.com" but the production URL is "www.mysite.com")
4- have you tried forcing the experiment's code to run using the "optimizely_x" URL parameter? (unless you have this option disabled in your account settings)

Do you have a link to the site? It's much easier to troubleshoot directly than throw out random "gotchas".

Re: Staging v. Production - Optimizely NOT Loading

Thanks for the reply - I took your suggestions.  Turns out I need to add an exemption with the full site url including the https;//

I believe it was related to the Mixed Content Issue https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Security/MixedContent

I'm off to test.

Re: Staging v. Production - Optimizely NOT Loading

Ah - was your script loading via http but your URL was https?

If so, the easiest way to work around that is to drop the "http" portion of the script reference so that it looks only like this:

<script src="//cdn.optimizely.com/js/123456789.js"></script>
