Hi there,
I know there is a thorough support article on dealing with compatibility mode, but it seems I just cannot get it to work properly.
I already have set up a running experiment without any problems. But now when I want to add a new experiment or edit an old one, the editor only shows the page in a messed up state. This persists even when I enable mixed content. The optimizely snippet was implemented over the official Wordpress-Plugin and I tested it on quite a few broswers - Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and even Opera all with mixed content unblocked but no success.
The odd part: I feel the trouble is connected to either my internet connection or my location. I used to use optimizely from Thailand where the our page is also hosted. Now I am in Germany and it doesn't work. My partner in Thailand can still use optimizely just fine. I also wonder whether the trouble is connected to my page being ridiculously slow (will fix that soon, I hope, haha)
My website is www.buynai.net and I wanted to run an experiment on my products such as http://buynai.net/Duchess-coffee-machine-cm5000. Hope someone can give me a tip on what is going on and what to do.
Cheers,
buynai

Hi there!
I'm afraid this is a situation which there is not too much we can do. The Optimizely editor has ~30 second time-out for loading pages, and when I visit those pages referenced they are consistently above this time-out value.
I can see that the snippet is on the page, in which case you can try appending the URL in the editor, with:
&optimizely_disable_proxy=true
This will force Optimizely to wait for a response and load your website using the site's snippet, either by http or https.
But unfortunately, as I say, if the browser struggles to load the page, so will the Optimizely editor.
Let us know if you have any more luck!

Hi Joel,
Thanks for the quick reply.
So basically it really seems to be because my page loads ridiculously slow. Unfortunately appending the URL did not help either, so I will have to wait until my page loads faster. I will work on that first then.
Thanks again!
