Test buy button color through all product pages
I would like to know if it is possible to test the change of a "buy now" button from blue to green and test it across all of my product pages at the same time.
I have about 80 product pages and to start an experment for each will be long process.
Is it possible to change them all in a single expirement? How?
Thanks for reaching out to Optiverse.
Within your experiment you can set up the changes to your button (blue vs. green). Via the URL-Targeting panel you can actually define where on your website the experiment shall run. You can either inlcude or exclude URLs.
Please check out the different Match Types. Depending on the URLs it might be possible to use a certain pattern to address several pages at the time by a Substring Match or a Regular Experession.
However, please ensure that the HTML of those 80 pages is similar/identical to the page which is loaded within the Visual Editor. Otherwise your changes could apply differently or won't apply at all.

Ok, I did what you told me but it's not working for me.
Here is what I did, tell me please what to fix.
I have about 80 product page that look like that:
I set the goal to test the clicks on the "Add to cart" button to see how many clicks.
I set the URL targeting to www.mydomainname.com/download/ with Substring Match.
All the product HTML are the same exept the text content and the images ofcourse.
Please paste the following:
- The buy button HTML + the buttons CSS class
- The variation code you have used in your experiment to change the buttons.
- The selector used for tracking clicks on the buttons
Yeah, I think some visibility into your variation code might help.
Do you have a preview URL for your experiment. You can direct message it to me if you do not want to post in public.
