Test won

lets say i have an experiment that was successful and now i want to take this variation and continue testing from there.
how do i do that? mark the variation as won

Re: Test won

I think what I would do is stop the first experiment, duplicate that experiment and make adjustments to the new version. That way all of your old data is preserved in the first experiment and you're starting fresh with the new variations.

Re: Test won

Hey thank you!

but will it preserve the data from the last experiment? i can i track it backwards?

Re: Test won

The data from your last experiment will be preserved with the last experiment, it won't be carried over to the new experiment that you've duplicated. The duplication process just duplicates the test setup and variations, it doesn't carry over the results. If you're starting a new test using your previous winner vs other variations this seems like the way to go, so your results are clean.
