Testing Audience Conditions

Hey,

I´m just reading this article about audience conditions:

http://developers.optimizely.com/rest/conditions/

How can I test my own condition to make shure it will run?

The article descripes this:

You can see how each condition type is defined below, or just create an audience on Optimizely and GET it back to see its condition JSON.

Can I create a audience and can get the JSON anywhere, I´m asking cause I´m not really proofe with the syntax.

Re: Testing Audience Conditions

Hi,

I may need some clarification of what you are trying to attempt. Are you trying to create an audience condition using our API or are you trying to create an audience condition on a test so you can QA it?

Re: Testing Audience Conditions

Hi David,

I´m trying to create an audience with the API and just want to check if my syntax is right and the audience is created like I thought.

Re: Testing Audience Conditions

Hi,

Thank you for the clarification. There currently isn't a method to validate the syntax of the custom audience condition. I generally QA audience conditions by adding it to an empty experiment and check the log:
