Testing SEM LPs: How should traffic be split up?
Need help with a currently running sem two landing page test as conversions are not being tracked correctly in Optimizely; conversions are being tracked in GA and Salesforce though. Could you please help verify that test has been set correctly?
What we are looking to achieve through the test:
- Traffic coming through from our Google SEM brand campaigns should be split between two test pages: Page A and Page B
- This SEM traffic comes through a URL that contains a UTM parameter which helps track campaigns in GA and Salesforce: utm_campaign=XXX
How should the test be set up?
Through URL trageting or Audience Targeting?
Should the included URLs in either the URL/Audience Targeting be 'simple match' or 'exact match'?
Your trying to make a redirect experiment
1 Create the experiment and config the url
2 Inside the Dashboard Experiment go to OPTIONS > EXPERIMENT TYPE > SELECT MULTI-PAGE TEST
3 Inside the variant TAB select Redirect to a new page and enter the URL of the B page
4 Config the Goals
5 Config the Audience
