View [Page 1] and [Page 2] Goal

Is it possible to create a Pageview Goal in which success is defined by viewing two pages?

Currently, when I add two pages to a pageview goal, success is defined by viewing one page OR the other. Is it possible to define success as viewing one page AND the other?

Hi jamesapearson,

Thanks for reaching out to Optimizely Support!

I understand that you would like to set up a goal that would trigger if your visitor has been on Page 1 and Page 2.

As far as I know this is not possible with the default built-in pageview goal in Optimizely. However one way to do it would be to use a custom event goal that would trigger on Page 2 if and if only the visitor has landed on Page 1 before. This will require some extra logic on your website. For example you could set a cookie on the browser or use a query parameter that would let you logic know when to trigger the custom event goal.

Your developer should be able to give you more input on that.

I hope that is helpful. Feel more than free to reply back with any additional questions at all.

Best,
David
