Want to run experiment only on home page

I simply want to run Experiments on our home page and ONLY our home page - www.dailylook.com.

This seems like it would be very easy and that Exact Match for URL Targeting would take care of it, but it's not working for me. The URL Validator shows that anything after www.dailylook.com (like www.dailylook.com/p/blah) is NOT valid, but in Preview Mode and on our test site, it is still matching all links, as though it were a Substring Match.

Am I doing something wrong, or missing some very obvious setting?

Thanks,

Randy

Re: Want to run experiment only on home page

Exact targeting works fine for targeting single page experiments. There may be the issue with the Optimizely tracking, let the Optimizely techies know the issue and they will take care of this.

Till then you can use "Simple Match" for URL targeting, it functions almost same as exact match, it only allows the URL parameters on the same page, other pages will not be targeted.
