optimizely certification - obsolete after the release of Optimizely X?

Would you say that the current Optimizely Certification Program is obsolete due to the release of the new Optimizely X?

I've been in contact with Optimizely and its confirmed that they will release new material in January 2017 that will reflect on the Optimizely X platform.

Ryan: thanks for your answer! This is indeed correct. We're currently testing our new certifications for Optimizely X internally. We're planning on releasing them in January next year. If you haven't done the certifications yet, you can wait to get certified, just for Optimizely X.
